On November 2nd, “Comitato Nucleare e Ragione”, with Elena Tonello and Renzo Colombo, was at Bocconi University in Milan to talk about Nuclear Energy in an event organized by “Green Light for Business”, a non-profit association established in 2008 by a group of international students at Bocconi University in Milan with the goal of “inspiring engagement in green business”.
The talk was focused on both technical and political/business aspects of nuclear energy. A quick poll used as an icebreaker for the event revealed quite unexpected results, showing the audience (young, international students @ Bocconi University) was in favor of the use of civil nuclear.
Even better, during the discussion session, many questions were asked, highlighting the problems and the challenges that nuclear energy faces, and, in my opinion, this indicates that the students @ Bocconi were making their support decision based on reasoned evaluations.
Finally, we’d like to thank the organizers of the event and Bocconi University for this opportunity.
